Honey Roasted Almond Cream Cheese Spread

This is my take on Einstein Bros Honey Almond Whipped Cream Cheese Shmear. It goes well on broiche bread or croissant toast!


8 oz whipped cream cheese
1/3 cup whole raw almonds, roasted
3 tbsp honey
1/8 tsp kosher salt
1/8 tsp vanilla extract (optional)


  1. In a pan, heat on medium heat. Add the almonds. Stir frequently for 5-8 minutes, or until the almonds are fully roasted. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a medium size bowl, add whipped cream cheese, honey, kosher salt, and vanilla extract (optional). Whisk to combine.
  3. Once almonds has cooled, chop into small pieces. Add chopped almonds to the cream cheese mixture. Whisk to combine.
  4. Put cream cheese mixture in a airtight container and refrigerator until use.

Alternatively, you can roast your almonds in the oven. Roast in a 325 F degree oven for 8-10 minutes.
